The Purge: Election Year

Blumhouse Productions and director James DeMonaco invited Filmograph to design a simple, conceptual main title sequence for the third installment in their Purge franchise. Opting for a stripped-down, graphic approach, we used custom typography and animation to simultaneously allude to the symbolic stripes of the American flag, governmental redaction of classified documents, and the violent eradication of innocent civilians each year.
