Working with director Nia DaCosta and Monkeypaw producers Jordan Peele and Ian Cooper, Filmograph crafted the opening and epilogue sequences to this film’s contemporary retelling of a horror classic. Working with live action puppeteering footage and handmade typography from Manual Cinema, our goal was to craft visuals that are as unsettling as they are understated, and still manage to pay homage to the original installment in the franchise.
